Qualifications

• Minimum of 6+ years of legal recruiting/talent management experience in a law firm or professional services setting.
• Existing network of relationships with productive recruiters and search firms at the partner candidate level.
• Prior experience managing direct reports strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the legal market and relationships in legal professional groups and other organizations related to the legal industry.
• Sophisticated strategic and analytical thinking, drive, initiative, and problem-solving ability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and recruiting databases.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Senior Director of Legal Recruiting and stakeholders to identify hiring needs and growth priorities.
• Develop market research and competitive intelligence to build a robust lateral partner pipeline.
• Track market issues and provide strategic recommendations to leadership.
• Cultivate relationships with search firms and counterparts in other firms.
• Create strategies to identify and contact potential candidates and tailor interview topics.
• Review evaluations and business plans to guide due diligence and final decisions.
• Partner with inclusion and diversity teams to advance recruitment initiatives.
• Coordinate with marketing to craft materials supporting recruitment objectives.
• Supervise and develop other Recruiting team members.
• Represent the firm in local and national legal recruiting organizations.
• Handle additional projects as assigned.
