Job summary

Paylocity, an award-winning cloud-based HR and payroll software provider, seeks a Senior Manager Learning and Development Ops in Schaumburg, IL. This in-office role leads the design and delivery of product and client training, creating instructors-led and on-demand modules, job aids, and performance support tools.

You will guide the L&D team through strategy, audience needs, and scalable training, aligning with product launches and business goals to drive impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; Master’s degree a plus.
• Minimum 5+ years managing or leading a Learning & Development team and driving business results.
• At least 7+ years training/design experience.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and manage people in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and diverse methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of product and client training solutions.
• Develop engaging training modules (instructor-led and on-demand) and job aids.
• Manage learning strategy, audience discovery, program design, delivery and evaluation.
• Oversee learning and development team performance and capability.
• Partner with Product, Operations, Service and other stakeholders to align training with launches and business goals.
