In your role as Senior Manager, IT/OT Digital Solutions - Engineering & Operations Embedded, you will lead the team responsible for IT solutions enabling RWE Clean Energy’s Engineering and Operations business areas. This includes developing and operating RWE Clean Energy’s in-house IT products and managing COTS applications. You will serve as the domain solution architect, collaborate with stakeholders, and partner with technologists to define and implement the tech strategy for Engineering & Operations. You will lead a team of experts to develop products and manage applications using Agile practices, fostering collaboration across teams.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Lead and develop the Engineering & Operations Embedded team, overseeing the development and operation of IT products and COTS applications.
2. Act as the domain solution architect, collaborating with stakeholders and technologists to shape the tech strategy.
3. Lead a team to develop products and manage applications using Agile methodologies.
4. Contribute technically during Agile sprints to develop product roadmaps.
5. Enhance collaboration across teams, including business stakeholders and other RWE IT/OT departments.
6. Collaborate with external partners for application development and operations.
7. Drive transition to DevOps practices and manage COTS applications effectively.
8. Reduce technical debt and insource IT operations.
9. Ensure high availability, reliability, and compliance with security standards, establishing OKRs to measure SLA adherence.
10. Support modernization and optimization of the product portfolio, leveraging new technologies.

Job Requirements and Experiences:

1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s preferred.
2. Certifications such as Scrum Master, SAFe, CSDP are a plus.
3. At least 12 years of experience in IT solutions and digital innovation, with leadership experience.
4. Experience managing platform solutions in large energy or utility companies.
5. Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure), DevOps, and agile SDLC practices.
6. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
7. Experience leading cross-functional teams and complex projects.
8. This role requires some travel and office presence.

Pay range: $128,000 - $190,000 annually, based on various factors.
