Senior Manager, IT/OT Digital Solutions - Engineering & Operations Embedded

Role Overview

As Senior Manager, IT/OT Digital Solutions - Engineering & Operations Embedded, you will lead the team responsible for IT solutions supporting RWE Clean Energy's Engineering and Operations. Your role involves developing and operating in-house IT products, managing COTS applications, serving as the domain solution architect, collaborating with stakeholders, and defining the tech strategy for Engineering & Operations. You will lead a team of experts, promote Agile practices, and foster cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

1. Lead and develop the Engineering & Operations Embedded team, overseeing product development and application management.
2. Act as the domain solution architect, working with stakeholders and technologists on tech strategy.
3. Manage a team to develop products and manage applications using Agile methodologies.
4. Contribute technically during Agile sprints for product roadmaps.
5. Enhance collaboration across teams and external partners, ensuring continuous delivery and feedback.
6. Drive transition to DevOps and optimize application portfolios.
7. Reduce technical debt and ensure high availability, reliability, and compliance with security standards.
8. Support modernization of the product portfolio leveraging new technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Master’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Certifications such as Scrum Master, SAFe, CSDP are a plus.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in IT solutions and digital innovation, with leadership experience.
• Experience managing platform solutions in large energy/utilities companies.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure), DevOps, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel and work at different locations.

Additional Information
