Senior Manager, IT/OT Digital Solutions - Development & Construction Embedded

Position Overview: Lead the IT solutions team supporting RWE Clean Energy’s Development and (Pre-)Construction sectors. Responsible for developing in-house IT products, managing COTS applications, and defining tech strategies in collaboration with stakeholders. Lead a team using Agile practices, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the Development & Construction Embedded team, overseeing product development and application management.
• Act as the domain solution architect, collaborating with stakeholders and technologists to shape the tech strategy.
• Manage a team of technical experts, ensuring Agile delivery of products and applications.
• Contribute technically during Agile sprints, shaping product roadmaps.
• Enhance collaboration across teams and external partners, promoting iterative delivery and feedback.
• Drive transition to DevOps, manage COTS applications, and reduce technical debt.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and compliance with security standards, establishing OKRs for SLA adherence.
• Support modernization and optimization of the product portfolio, leveraging new technologies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred; certifications like Scrum Master, SAFe, CSDP are a plus.
• At least 12 years in IT solutions and digital innovation, with leadership experience.
• Experience managing platform solutions and ensuring operational excellence in large energy/utilities companies.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure), DevOps, and agile methodologies.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Additional Details:

Salary range: $128,000 - $190,000 annually (NY and Chicago). Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and more. Role involves some travel. Office-based with flexible arrangements.
