Intact Insurance U.S. is seeking a Senior Manager, Financial Controls Advisory to lead SOX 404 and ICFR programs in our Plymouth, MN office on a hybrid basis. You will drive control design, remediation, and governance across regions, partnering with Finance, Risk, Compliance and Audit teams.

We value deep experience in internal controls, IFRS, and financial governance, with strong communication and project leadership. CPA or equivalent is preferred and insurance sector exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in internal controls, SOX, and financial governance in a large org.
• Proven record leading large-scale control and finance transformations.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls over financial reporting and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience managing complex projects and meeting tight deadlines.
• CPA or equivalent is preferred; insurance sector experience is a plus.
• Data and analytics skills with SQL, Power BI, Visio, and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead ICFR risk assessments and identify control gaps with cross‑functional teams.
• Drive ICFR remediation and control uplift roadmaps balancing risk and effort.
• Guide business stakeholders on control design and sustainability.
• Coach project team members on SOX and ICFR activities.
• Coordinate with external auditors and prepare ICFR analyses for leadership.
