Job summary

Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions is seeking a Finance Manager to join our Finance team in Plymouth, MN on a hybrid schedule. The role provides strategic recommendations for the US Finance division, drives annual planning, analyzes results, supports ad hoc requests, and assists with M&A/due diligence.

Candidates should have 6–10 years of related experience, 3–5 years in a senior or management role, a Bachelor's degree, and progress toward CPCU/CFA/CPA or related credentials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree. Post-Graduate may be required.
• Progress toward financial certification CPCU, CFA, CIA, ACAS; CPA designation or progress towards is also sufficient, along with public accounting experience.
• 6-10 years of related experience, with 3-5 years in a senior or management role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the annual US and GSL financial planning processes, analyzing planning information and making recommendations.
• Prepare strategic and long-term forecasted financial statements.
• Analyze potential merger, acquisition and divestitures, including modeling the impact to financial statements and ratings, and due diligence activities.
• Manage staff development, including training, technical guidance, performance evaluation, and policy direction.
• Coordinate and execute various special projects for executive and business senior leadership.
