Job summary

Harvard University is seeking a Senior Manager in the Office for Sponsored Programs (OSP) to oversee the proposal review lifecycle and signatory processes. You will guide a team across Harvard schools and central offices, implementing standards, and partnering with sponsors and investigators to ensure compliant, timely submissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 8 years’ relevant work experience.
• Advanced knowledge of sponsored research regulations.
• Supervisory experience.
• Detail-oriented and analytical problem-solver.
• Excellent organizational and electronic document management skills.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Harvard policies and sponsor requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the proposal review team, including staffing and workload distribution.
• Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures and training for consistency and compliance.
• Collaborate with sponsors, investigators, and departments to ensure timely submissions.
• Develop metrics and dashboards to evaluate performance and identify improvements.
• Provide presentations and training across schools and central offices.
• Serve as an Authorized Organizational Representative (AOR) for submissions.
