Job summary

FMI – The Food Industry Association is seeking a Senior Manager, Education to lead the design, marketing, and execution of cutting-edge education programs for our members. You will collaborate with planning committees and subject matter experts to build strong programs, oversee budgets, and ensure continuous improvement through evaluation.

You’ll manage end-to-end event planning, speaker recruitment, agenda development, and performance metrics, while coordinating with marketing, finance,

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in education program development, committee management, and evaluation.
• College degree in business, education, or related field.
• Knowledge of food/retail industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop program design, budget, marketing and implementation with partners.
• Identify industry trends and translate into educational programs.
• Lead end-to-end event planning, define goals, budget, timeline and success metrics.
• Recruit and manage planning committees, select speakers and agenda.
• Coordinate sponsorships and negotiate speaker contracts.
• Stay updated on education/training trends and improve attendance experience.
• Conduct post-program evaluations and implement improvements.
