Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Senior Manager, M&A Corporate Strategy to join our healthcare technology strategy team in New York. You will merge research discipline with transaction execution to move live acquisitions from evaluation through closing, delivering concise recommendations and diligence materials.

The role requires hands-on experience in buy-side transactions, strong financial modeling, and the ability to work with senior leaders across strategy, operations, and corporate development.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of M&A/corporate development experience at an acquisitive company.
• Healthcare strategy, transaction advisory, or PE exposure preferred.
• Proficient with PitchBook, AlphaSense, Capital IQ, Bloomberg or similar platforms.
• Direct experience supporting live acquisition workstreams through closing.
• Strong financial modeling, DCF, synergies, and returns analyses.
• Excellent written communication for fact packs, memos, and exec decks.

Responsibilities

• Build market maps and acquisition watchlists in healthcare tech.
• Conduct research using industry sources and networks.
• Prepare fact packs, analyses, and diligence materials.
• Identify platform and add-on opportunities based on market fit and value.
• Maintain a disciplined deal pipeline with summaries and memos.
• Support live transactions from evaluation through closing.
• Build transaction materials and integration-related analyses.
• Coordinate across diligence tranches (legal, tech, regulatory).
• Leverage AI to improve research workflows.
