Job summary

Vantor’s Government Services team seeks a Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition to lead recruiting for complex, cleared government programs. You will translate contract requirements into hiring plans and build pipelines for engineers, technical professionals, and program leaders.

You’ll manage a recruiting team, ensure alignment with program timelines, and partner across Program Management, Contracts, Security, Finance, and HR. This hybrid role sits in Herndon, VA three days weekly.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in talent acquisition or recruiting, including government contracts.
• 3+ years managing recruiters or multiple workstreams.
• Experience staffing government contracts or funded programs.
• Translate contracts/work statements into recruiting plans.
• Recruit for technical roles and cleared talent.
• Experience in government services, defense, or national security.
• Full-cycle recruiting: intake, sourcing, assessments, offers, onboarding.
• Experience using an ATS and recruiting metrics for pipelines.
• Manage workloads, staffing plans, and external recruiting partners.
• Report progress and risks to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruiting for government programs and develop hiring plans.
• Partner with Program Management, Contracts, Security, Finance, and HR.
• Translate SOWs and labor categories into candidate profiles.
• Track staffing needs against funding, contracts, and start dates.
• Recruit candidates meeting clearances, citizenship, and availability.
• Identify staffing risks delaying contracts or program delivery.
• Support mobilizations, recompetes, expansions, and staffing changes.
