Vantor Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Government Services Talent Acquisition to lead recruiting for government programs and translate contract requirements into robust hiring plans for engineers, mission operators, and program leaders.

Based in Herndon, VA, the role blends in-office and remote work with a three-day-week on-site schedule. You will collaborate with program, contracts, security, finance, and HR to build pipelines and manage staffing risks across complex government contracts.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or executive search.
• 3+ years of experience managing recruiters or multiple recruiting workstreams.
• Experience staffing government contracts or funded programs.
• Experience translating labor categories, statements of work, and program timelines into recruiting plans.
• Experience recruiting technical roles and cleared or clearance-eligible talent.
• Experience in government services, defense, aerospace, or national security contracting.
• Experience full-cycle recruiting: intake, sourcing, interviews, offers, coordination.
• Experience using an ATS and recruiting data to manage pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop recruiting plans based on government contracts, labor categories, staffing plans, and timelines.
• Partner with Program Management, Contracts, Finance, Security, and HR to align requirements.
• Translate SOWs, labor categories, and program dates into candidate profiles and search strategies.
• Track staffing needs against funding, performance periods, options, and start dates.
• Recruit candidates meeting technical, clearance, citizenship, and location requirements.
• Identify staffing risks that could delay start dates or program delivery.
• Support contract mobilizations, recompetes, expansions, and staffing changes.
