Job summary

Vantor is hiring a Senior Manager of Government Services Talent Acquisition to lead recruiting for high-priority government programs. You will translate contract requirements into hiring plans and build pipelines for engineers, mission operators, and program leaders.

The role requires staffing government contracts and collaborating with program, contracts, security, finance, and HR leaders. The position is hybrid, located in Herndon, VA, three days a week with remote days; you will manage a team

Qualifications

• 8+ years in talent acquisition, recruiting, or executive search.
• 3+ years leading recruiters or multiple workstreams.
• Experience staffing government contracts or government-funded programs.
• Translating contract labor categories, SOIs, and program timelines into recruiting plans.
• Experience recruiting technical roles and cleared/clearance-eligible talent.
• Background in government services, defense, aerospace, or related contracting.
• Experience managing full-cycle recruiting from intake to offers.
• Experience using ATS and recruiting data to manage pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop recruiting plans based on contracts, labor categories, staffing plans, and timelines.
• Partner with Program Management, Contracts, Finance, Security, and HR to understand requirements.
• Translate SOWs and labor categories into candidate profiles and search strategies.
• Track staffing needs against funding, performance periods, and start dates.
• Recruit candidates meeting technical, clearance, citizenship, and availability requirements.
• Identify staffing risks that could delay contract starts or program delivery.
• Support mobilizations, recompetes, expansions, and changes in staffing needs.
