Job summary

manufacturing sites, ensuring reliable material supply for critical operations and strategic cost improvements. You will direct procurement activities, implement process improvements, negotiate with suppliers, and collaborate with finance, operations, engineering, planning, and quality teams to align procurement with business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• 5+ years of supply chain management experience.
• 5+ years of managerial or supervisory experience.
• Proficient with MS Office products; Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and writing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Able to contribute as a reliable and effective team member with minimal supervision.
• Able to coordinate multiple facets of the operation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate purchasing activities for materials, products, and services.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulatory requirements, ITAR included.
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes to increase efficiency and reduce cycle times.
• Manage suppliers and coordinate with cross-functional teams for PO placement and issue resolution.
• Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships for reliability and cost value.
• Monitor supplier performance via on-time delivery, defects, and responsiveness.
• Negotiate contracts and terms to achieve favorable pricing and SLAs.
• Ensure purchased materials meet specified requirements.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, engineering, planning, quality, and other departments.
• Lead department audits and set annual/quarterly goals.
