Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Planning Manager to provide strategic leadership for planning and supply chain operations across a network of manufacturing facilities and contract partners.

This role coordinates global demand, supply, inventory, capacity and SIOP to align customer demand with capabilities. The successful candidate will lead end-to-end planning for the FTS Business Unit, partnering with Operations, Business Units, Sales, Engineering, Procurement,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Engineering, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of progressive supply chain, planning and inventory management experience.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership experience managing managers and multi-site planning organisations.
• Demonstrated experience leading SIOP, inventory optimisation and supply chain transformation initiatives.
• Experience within complex manufacturing environments and with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Planning Managers and Supply Chain leaders across multiple domestic and international locations.
• Define and implement planning strategies that support growth, profitability and customer commitments.
• Own end-to-end planning governance across demand, supply, inventory, capacity and master scheduling.
• Lead regional and global SIOP processes and facilitate executive reviews.
• Drive initiatives to improve customer delivery performance and optimize inventory levels.
