Job summary

Airwallex is seeking a Senior Manager, Social Impact to build and scale the company’s global social impact initiatives from a startup within Airwallex. This role reports to the Director of Social Impact and focuses on US priorities, program design, and cross-functional collaboration across product, marketing, and leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a rigorous business environment and impact environment

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of Airwallex’s social impact strategy
• Lead all social impact priorities in the U.S., including designing and launching a marquis U.S. impact program
• Lead or support a variety of global social impact priorities, which could include - driving Airwallex platform adoption amongst nonprofits and social enterprises, refining and operationalizing our ESG strategy, developing our giving strategy & fund structure, designing & launching product features to activate giving, activating our data for public good (in partnership with data science team), strengthening our high-impact volunteering programs, etc.
• Cultivate a robust external network globally in relevant areas and source high-impact opportunities for Airwallex to consider pursuing
• Work cross-functionally across the Airwallex organization - e.g., with leadership, communications / corporate affairs, marketing, commercial, product, design - to build buy-in, align priorities, and implement initiatives with quality
• Operate as an "entrepreneur" within Airwallex, launching, refining, and scaling high-impact initiatives
• Drive communications and narrative storytelling both within Airwallex and publicly on our social impact strategy & initiatives
• Support our President/Co-founder and Director of Social Impact on impact-related priorities as they arise
