Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Mgr, NW Deployment Scaling to lead end-to-end delivery of network infrastructure across regions. You will build and lead deployment teams, define deployment strategy, and ensure safe, efficient, scalable network capacity in AWS data centers.

You will own people management across geographically distributed teams, influence senior leadership, and drive continuous improvement using data and metrics to beat records for cycle time and cost.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant management experience in datacenter operations, facility engineering operations, IT critical environments, high-volume manufacturing, or similar.
• Experience leading large teams with proven ability to hire, develop, and manage high-performing technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Hiring, developing, and leading a multi-layer organization of deployment managers and network technicians across sites and regions.
• Attainment of performance goals related to safety, quality, speed, capacity, efficiency, and cost.
• Owning and driving multi-region deployment strategy for configuring, deploying, and commissioning network infrastructure in AWS data centers.
• Building mechanisms and processes for on-time delivery with zero rework and high operational excellence.
• End-to-end delivery ownership including safety, scheduling, standards, and implementation.
