Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Network Deployment Build Lead to join the NW Deployment team in the DC Global Network Delivery. You will drive network capacity, scale data centers, and collaborate with internal customers and vendors to implement scalable, reliable infrastructure.

In this fast-paced role, you will manage projects, troubleshoot routing and connectivity, and travel up to 60% within the region.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of computer networking experience.
• 1+ years of Linux operating systems experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with computer networking or Linux operating systems is preferred.
• Can lift and rack equipment up to 40 pounds.
• Experience with computer hardware troubleshooting and repair.

Responsibilities

• Build out first level router-aggregates and the console network for new rooms.
• Manage work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to remove project obstacles.
• Troubleshoot networking, routing and inter-connectivity issues.
