Job summary

Cloudflare, a global leader in internet infrastructure, seeks an experienced Senior Manager to lead a unified Infrastructure Operations function. This executive will oversee 750+ data center sites and two teams, ensuring 24x7 network availability, security compliance, and efficient asset lifecycle management.

You will drive automation, vendor relationships, and audit-ready processes across SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, ISMAP, and IRAP, while shaping a scalable, compliant operations

Qualifications

• 7+ years in infrastructure operations, data center operations, or related field; at least 3 years in people management
• Demonstrated experience managing managers and holding teams to operational SLAs
• Direct experience with physical data center operations including hardware lifecycle management, decommissioning, and vendor management
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks relevant to physical infrastructure (SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP) at an operational level
• Strong program management instincts; comfortable multi-workstream initiatives across teams and time zones
• Proven track record of driving operational efficiency through process redesign or automation adoption
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to translate technical details into executive-level reporting

Responsibilities

• Lead two teams: Operations and Security & Compliance
• Set goals, develop talent, and cultivate a culture of operational excellence and compliance
• Maintain shared SLAs and balance 24x7 incident response with audit cycles
• Own end-to-end decommissioning workflows and drive vendor relationships for asset destruction
• Maintain audit-readiness of decommissioning records for multiple standards
• Accountable for 24x7 incident response coverage and on-call processes across regions
• Oversee hardware break-fix operations with vendors and contractors
• Drive automation and tooling initiatives to reduce manual workload and improve efficiency
• Maintain quarterly/monthly access reviews and manage physical access provisioning across sites
