Job summary

The Home Depot seeks a Senior Manager of Consolidations/Financial Reporting to lead the consolidation of subsidiaries into the Consolidated Financial Statements and to serve as the primary financial liaison for subsidiary Controllers. You will manage foreign currency transactions, inter-company eliminations, and equity activities, ensure GAAP/SEC compliance, and prepare SEC filings and technical memos.

CPA or equivalent certification required; Big 4 experience preferred; multi-unit

Qualifications

• Big 4 audit experience required.
• Experience in consolidations and/or international accounting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to supervise and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Consolidate financial information including foreign currency translation and inter-company eliminations; coordinate the closing process with subsidiary management.
• Lead acquisition integration analysis; oversee SEC reporting, board presentations, and technical accounting support.
• Develop and supervise the Consolidations/Financial Reporting team and manage personnel matters.
