Job summary

Invenergy LLC seeks a Senior Software Engineer, GIS, to join our on-site Chicago team. You will develop geospatial applications using React/Typescript and Python/C#, contributing to the full software lifecycle.

You will integrate ArcGIS SDKs, collaborate on UI/UX, and implement geoprocessing workflows while ensuring robust, scalable geospatial features across our portfolio of energy infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or related field.
• 5+ years of front-end development experience with React, TS, JavaScript, HTML/CSS.
• 5+ years of scripting with Python or similar data processing tools.
• 2+ years of CI/CD and Agile experience (Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Jira).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain modular UI components using React and Typescript.
• Develop geospatial tools and web services using Python/C# and Node.js.
• Create Python geoprocessing tools for ArcGIS.
• Manage and present geospatial data in various formats.
• Contribute to API integrations and ETL processes.
• Collaborate with GIS and cross-functional teams on UI/UX improvements.
• Support DevOps practices and code reviews.
