Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine (J&J IM) seeks a Senior Manager to lead the Workflow, Applications and Plug-ins team within Data, Data Science and AI. The role centers on delivering reusable GenAI applications and scientific workflows across R&D, translating product priorities into robust designs and releases.

You will provide technical leadership, mentor engineers and collaborate with Platforms, AI Ops, World Model, and business teams in a hybrid role based in New Jersey.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in AI/ML, CS, Engineering, Bioinformatics or related field with 3+ years of hands-on AI/GenAI experience
• Experience delivering production software or AI applications and leading complex technical work
• Strong fundamentals in AI/GenAI, Python, APIs, version control, testing and cloud delivery

Responsibilities

• Own the integrated application delivery plan across approved use cases
• Translate user stories into technical designs and work packages
• Guide generation, retrieval and agent workflow implementation
• Establish code review, automated testing and release practices
• Coordinate integration with data products and vendor services
• Mentor scientists and engineers and coordinate teams
• Communicate delivery tradeoffs to leadership and manage resources
