Job summary

LU Service Corp. in Fall River, MA is seeking a Manager of Construction and Maintenance for the natural gas distribution system.

The role provides strategic leadership for construction, maintenance, and system protection functions, oversees budgets, regulatory testimony, and safety programs, and ensures compliance with applicable codes and company policies. The position requires extensive experience in gas operations, strong management skills, and the ability to coordinate with state authorities

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years of experience in Gas Operations.
• Advanced organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, subordinates, City and Town.
• Proven experience developing, managing, forecasting, and controlling operating and capital budgets, including variance analysis, resource allocation, and investment justification.
• CDL license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Company’s gas Construction, Maintenance and System Protection functions, ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the distribution system.
• Develop, prepare, review, and support formal testimony for rate cases and regulatory proceedings.
• Manage budgets for operating and capital expenditures and allocate resources accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal Codes and Regulations and Company policies.
• Lead safety initiatives and ensure field personnel adhere to safety standards.
• Serve as liaison with municipalities on construction activities and permitting coordination.
