Zusammenfassung

IQ-EQ is seeking a Senior Manager - Fund Accounting (Private Credit) to lead and review complex private markets accounting for PE funds. You will oversee journal entries, investor allocations, capital calls, distributions, and waterfall models, coordinating with auditors and tax teams.

You'll mentor junior staff, drive process improvements, and ensure timely delivery of financial statements and notices for clients while meeting demanding deadlines in a hybrid, US-based work environment.

Qualifikationen

• You bring 8+ years of progressive experience in private equity, public accounting, or a combination of alternative asset investment and public accounting roles with Private Credit clients preferred.
• You possess strong analytical and technical skills, with proven proficiency in accounting and administration for alternative investment funds.
• You have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams.
• You deliver high-quality, detail-oriented work, manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines, and provide exceptional client service.
• You are proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Investran, and communicate effectively in professional environments.

Aufgaben

• You’ll support IQ-EQ client leads across multiple Private Equity funds, ensuring deliverables align with limited partnership agreements and client expectations.
• You’ll manage and review complex financial components, including journal entries, investor allocations, capital calls/distributions, fee and carried interest calculations, and waterfall models.
• You’ll oversee the preparation and delivery of financial statements, disclosures, supporting schedules, and investor notices, working with auditors and tax teams during year-end processes.
• You’ll assess and enhance operational processes, handle routine and ad-hoc client requests, and prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines.
• You’ll train and mentor junior team members, fostering development while maintaining high standards of accuracy and timeliness.
