Capital One seeks an experienced Senior Manager, Full-stack Engineer (People Leader) to guide multiple Agile teams, shape technology strategy, and mentor engineering talent across data-centric platforms. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field.
• 6+ years in software engineering; internship excluded.
• 3+ years leading cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) or virtualization.
• 3+ years of people management experience.
• Experience leading architectural reviews and enterprise standards.
• 4+ years with databases; 4+ years with AWS/GCP/Azure or related tools.
• 4+ years with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and automated testing.
• 4+ years using Git-based version control (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket).
• 5+ years contributing to open source projects.
• 5+ years front-end JS/TS frameworks; 5+ years API design (sync/async).
• 9+ years coding in multiple languages (Go/Java/JS/TS/Python/Rust/C#).
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools and IDE copilots.
• Experience managing multi-team engineering organizations or strategic programs.
• Experience defining OKRs aligned to business outcomes; shaping talent strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of diverse tech projects and a developers team for regulatory solutions.
• Mentor engineers, participate in code reviews, and contribute to technical strategy.
• Collaborate with product managers to deliver cloud-based experiences for users.
• Drive multi-year technology roadmaps and investment priorities.
• Develop leaders, succession plans, and scale leadership across teams.
• Align engineering execution with enterprise goals and portfolio decisions.
