Capital One is seeking a Senior Manager, Full-stack Engineer to lead multiple agile teams, drive technical strategy, and mentor top engineering talent in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will work with Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, TypeScript, AWS, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices to deliver scalable cloud-native solutions that meet complex regulatory needs.

Requires 6+ years in software engineering and 3+ years of people leadership, with a passion for open source and modern AI

Qualifications

At least 6 years of software engineering experience.
At least 3 years of people management experience.
Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and virtualization/production tooling.

Responsibilities

Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with microservices and full stack systems.
Mentor engineers, participate in code reviews, and promote engineering best practices.
Collaborate with product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions for customers.
Lead multiple agile teams, define roadmaps, and align work with business goals.
Drive end-to-end design of large-scale, distributed or cloud-native systems with high reliability.
