Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Ottawa is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Financial Reporting to lead the financial reporting function across Hard Rock and Seminole Gaming entities. You will drive accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with US GAAP, GASB, and local requirements, coordinating external audits and improving controls.

The role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, leadership, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or people management experience is required.
• Public accounting experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience with multi-entity, consolidated financial reporting is strongly preferred.
• International accounting, IFRS, GASB, statutory reporting, or multinational company experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial statement preparation is required.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, financial reporting tools, consolidation systems, and reporting workflows is preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications are required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain complex accounting matters.

Responsabilités

• Lead the financial reporting workstream and oversee external reporting for multiple entities.
• Act as primary internal SME for financial reporting accuracy and timeliness of statements and disclosures.
• Manage preparation and review of annual and interim financial statements across legal entities.
• Ensure statements comply with US GAAP, GASB and applicable frameworks.
• Coordinate external audits, respond to auditor requests and address audit comments.
• Oversee schedules, tie-outs, and disclosure checklists for audit support.
• Develop and improve financial reporting packages, close calendars, and control documentation.
• Collaborate with FP&A, tax, treasury, legal, operations, and other departments to obtain needed data.
