Job summary

Stanford Health Care is seeking a Sr. Manager - Financial Reporting to own complex close processes, ensure GAAP compliance, and drive innovation in healthcare revenue reporting. You will partner with FP&A and leadership to align actuals with budgets, perform variance analyses, and optimize revenue cycle performance.

The role leads AI adoption in the Controller's Office, including training, governance, and integration of AI-driven analytics and reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Experience building dashboards and analytics for financial data.
• Familiarity with AI tools and large language models in finance workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute complex monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Ensure GAAP-compliant financial statements and schedules.
• Review general ledger activity for variances and risks and resolve issues.
• Partner with FP&A to align actual results with budgets and forecasts.
• Perform variance and trend analyses across income statement and balance sheet.
• Support annual financial statement audits with schedules and analyses.
• Develop analytics and dashboards to support decision-making.
