Job summary

Stanford Health Care seeks a Sr. Manager – Financial Reporting to own complex close processes, ensure GAAP compliance, and drive analytics in healthcare revenue reporting.

You will lead data governance, develop dashboards, and oversee AI initiatives within the Controller’s Office, including training and governance. You will partner with FP&A and leadership to align actual results with budgets, perform variance analyses, and support audits with robust schedules and analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, or Accounting.
• Six (6) or more years of progressively responsible healthcare finance experience.
• CPA - Certified Public Accountant preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Own complex areas of monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with journal entries, accruals, estimates, and reconciliations.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and accuracy of healthcare revenue reporting and supporting schedules.
• Develop dashboards and analytics infrastructure to support financial and operational decisions.
• Lead AI adoption within the Controller’s Office, including training and governance.
• Partner with FP&A and finance leadership to align actual results with budgets and forecasts.
