Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Significant experience in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and management reporting.
• Demonstrated experience supporting multi-site operations and partnering with executive leadership to improve performance.
• Strong understanding of profitability analysis, cash flow management, OPEX/CAPEX planning, revenue forecasting, and commercial financial analysis.
• Master's degree and/or relevant professional certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and forecasting cycles across multiple sites (OPEX and CAPEX).
• Develop/maintain financial models, forecasts, and reporting tools; standardize planning processes.
• Partner with executives and site leadership to evaluate performance and provide data-driven insights.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and business decision support across a multi‑site organization. Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will work closely with executive leadership and site management teams to drive financial performance, improve forecasting accuracy, and support key strategic initiatives. This role will provide valuable financial insights into profitability, cash flow, investment opportunities, and operational performance, helping the business make informed decisions and achieve its financial objectives. You will serve as a trusted business partner to stakeholders across the organization, translating complex financial data into actionable recommendations. This position is based in Watertown, MA.

The organisation is an advanced therapy CDMO supporting biologics‑focused pharma and biotech across the industry.

Job Duties

• Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting cycles, including operating expenses (OPEX) and capital expenditure (CAPEX) planning across multiple sites.
• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and reporting tools, while continuously improving management reporting processes and leveraging ERP and financial systems to standardize planning and reporting.
• Partner with executive leadership and Site Leadership Teams to evaluate financial and operational performance, support strategic initiatives, and provide data‑driven recommendations.
• Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), revenue forecasting, and commercial activities through pricing analysis, margin assessments, revenue modeling, and financial evaluation of business opportunities.
• Monitor profitability, cash flow, and key financial indicators; present financial results and performance metrics to stakeholders; and drive continuous improvement across financial planning, reporting, and business processes.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline required.
• Significant experience in financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and management reporting.
• Demonstrated experience supporting multi‑site operations and partnering with executive leadership and operational teams to improve business and financial performance.
• Strong understanding of profitability analysis, cash flow management, OPEX/CAPEX planning, revenue forecasting, and commercial financial analysis.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights; a Master's degree and/or relevant professional certifications are preferred.
