Our team performs a critical role in partnering with Consumables and Health & Wellness Sourcing teams to drive resilience, value, and trust for the organization. This Senior Manager will actively participate in a broad range of critical financial activities and business partnerships including analytics, strategy and decision support to help the $30B Consumables and Health & Wellness Sourcing business achieve its primary objectives. In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating cross-functionally to understand business performance, identify and communicate key opportunities and risks, and engage in preparation of executive-level materials and lead special projects.

What you'll bring:

• Shaping Long-Term Sourcing Strategy & Leading Special Projects: Play a critical part to shape long-term sourcing strategy, helping to future-proof Walmart’s global private brand portfolio through data-driven investment decisions and resilient supply design.
• Driving Cross-Functional Alignment & Organizational Influence: You will partner closely with Merchandising, Supply Chain, Private Brand and Global Sourcing support teams to align sourcing objectives with enterprise-wide priorities and build organizational influence to drive adoption.
• Advancing Digital Finance & Intelligent Reporting: You’ll collaborate with Tech & Data teams to design scalable, intelligent financial reporting tools that empower faster, smarter decision-making.
• Driving Strategic Analytics: Understanding key sourcing processes, financial/operational metrics, and business goals and objectives to analyze, interpret, and communicate business performance, identify opportunities, and enable strategic investment decisions.
• Being a Trusted Advisor: Quickly developing strong and trusting relationships with internal teams. Partner and participate in business strategy discussions and influence key business decisions with informed recommendations leveraging facts and data.
• Producing Informative Financial Materials: Creating and presenting financial information to business partners in a clear and concise manner demonstrating ability to articulate Sourcing impacts/opportunities to retail merchandising business.
• Delivering Data Driven Analysis: Sourcing and compiling relevant data; organizing and validating data prior to data analysis; consolidating and identifying exceptions and patterns in data; synthesizing data in the creation of actionable customer insights; and translating information into action plans.

• Practicing Continuous Process Improvement: Working across the organization to identify and solve issues with a customer-oriented mindset, bringing new ideas forward and influencing positive change.
• Gaining An Understanding of Sourcing: Demonstrating ability to learn and keep up to date an understanding of Walmart Sourcing and new and creative solutions to help the business make the best choices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 3 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area.
• 3+ years’ experience in Analytics, Planning, Business Management, Omni-Channel Merchandising, or a related area.
• 1+ years of experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.
• Experience working with Finance technologies, including Power BI and other data tools.
• Experience across FP&A, process design, process mapping and process improvement.
• Experience in project management.
• Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines.
• Strong influencing and interpersonal skills.
• Detail and results-oriented with sense of urgency.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: - Stock

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area. 1 year’s experience leading and completing cross-functional projects. 1 year’s supervisory experience.
