Job summary

Cintrifuse is seeking an experienced EH&S leader to oversee environmental health and safety across multiple facilities. The role requires developing and implementing policies, conducting risk assessments, and leading investigations to drive a safe, compliant work environment.

The position includes managing training programs, coordinating with operations and engineering, and directing safety teams to support capital and maintenance projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years of progressive EH&S experience in regulated manufacturing environments.
• Working knowledge of OSHA General Industry (29 CFR 1910), EPA, and state regulations.
• Experience developing and leading safety programs across multiple facilities or sites.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analysis.
• Experience developing and maintaining safety training for employees and contractors.
• Experience with cleanroom, chemical-handling, and ergonomics programs typical of medical device manufacturing.
• Experience coaching and developing staff and external contractors in safety topics.
• Experience managing EH&S operating and/or capital budgets and coordinating with outside vendors/contractors.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain EH&S policies across all company facilities in accordance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable regulations.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA processes for safety events and near-misses.
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across manufacturing, cleanroom, warehouse, and office areas.
• Own and maintain Hazard Communication, Lockout/Tagout, Machine Guarding, PPE, and Emergency Action Plan programs.
• Partner with Operations and Engineering leadership to ensure safe equipment design, installation, and process changes.
• Assist in day-to-day facilities operations and maintenance across company sites, including building systems and general repairs.
• Directly supervise facilities/maintenance staff, including hiring, scheduling, performance management, and development.
• Lead and maintain internal cross-functional Safety and Emergency Response Teams.
• Plan and manage Facilities and EH&S related capital and improvement projects with cross-functional teams.
• Develop and manage the EH&S budget; track spend against plan.
• Manage relationships and contracts with outside facilities vendors and contractors.
• Assist in maintaining preventive maintenance programs for facility infrastructure and equipment.
• Ensure facilities comply with building codes and fire/life-safety regulations.
• Serve as primary point of contact for EH&S emergencies and coordinate after-hours response.
• Coordinate workers' compensation cases and return-to-work programs with HR.
• Develop, deliver, and own EH&S training for onboarding and ongoing education.
• Track, analyze, and report EH&S metrics to site and leadership.
• Lead or support ergonomics assessments and industrial hygiene monitoring.
• Maintain OSHA recordkeeping and regulatory reporting.
• Support environmental compliance programs including waste and air permits.
• Champion a proactive safety culture through committees and recognition programs.
