Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor in Windsor Locks, CT to lead, organize, and support staff, fostering teamwork, motivation, accountability, and pride within a diverse environment. You will coach managers to develop future leaders and ensure staff performance aligns with business needs and service standards.

You will ensure compliance with TSA, FAA, USCBP and Airport Police regulations, prepare operational reports, manage incident processes, and coordinate badge renewals

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2–5 years of related experience.
• 5 years of leadership and management experience required.
• Ability to work across a 24/7 schedule and adapt to a fluid environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff performance to meet business needs and ensure compliance with carrier Service Level Agreement standards.
• Ensure operational leaders guide Ramp Agents and Warehouse Agents in adherence to safety rules and procedures.
• Support employee relations, including conflict resolution, performance evaluations, counseling input, and termination recommendations.
• Maintain compliance with Airport Police, TSA, USCBP, and FAA security regulations; enforce badge and access controls.
• Prepare and deliver operational reports (weekly, monthly, ad hoc).
• Complete injury and damage reports and coordinate post-accident responses.
• Assist customer representatives with data for compliance reporting and audits.
• Maintain employment records and coordinate airport-related appointments, including badge renewals and regulatory meetings.

Responsibilities

• Develop future leaders by coaching managers and supervisors in effective leadership and operational management skills.
• Oversee staff performance to meet business needs and ensure compliance with carrier Service Level Agreement standards.
• Ensure operational leaders properly guide Ramp Agents and Warehouse Agents in adhering to all safety rules, procedures, and established standards.
• Support employee relations efforts, including conflict resolution, performance evaluations, counseling input, and termination recommendations.
• Maintain strict compliance with Airport Police, TSA, USCBP, and FAA security regulations; challenge any individual without proper airport identification in WFS facilities or Airport Operational Areas (AOA).
• Prepare and deliver operational reports, including weekly, monthly, and ad hoc data as required.
• Complete injury and damage reports in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure post-accident and post-injury testing is conducted when required.
• Assist customer representatives by providing data and documentation for compliance reporting and audits.
• Maintain required employment records and coordinate mandatory airport-related appointments, including badge renewals, USCBP interviews, and other government‑required meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or two to five years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Airline/Logistics/Transportation experience preferred.
• 5 years of leadership and management experience required.
• Must possess leadership skills with the ability to train and develop personnel.
• Must be able to continually respond to and prioritize within a fluid work environment.
• Must have the ability to work across the 24/7 schedule based on the needs of the business.
