The Role

The Senior Manager of Executive Compensation will manage the development, implementation, and administration of executive compensation strategies and programs, including short- and long-term incentives, stock-based compensation, and executive benefits. The individual will supervise a small team and collaborate with various internal teams and external advisors to ensure competitive, compliant, and motivating compensation frameworks.

This is a remote opportunity open to candidates located anywhere in the U.S.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Develop and oversee competitive executive compensation programs: including base pay, incentives, equity awards, retention, and severance plans.
  2. Design incentive plans: align with business objectives, including metrics, payout structures, and compliance.
  3. Manage equity compensation: oversee global stock-based plans, data accuracy, and governance.
  4. Conduct market benchmarking: analyze industry pay practices and participate in surveys.
  5. Support HR & Compensation Committee: prepare materials, set agendas, and serve as subject matter expert.
  6. Lead proxy preparation: including disclosures and shareholder engagement.
  7. Ensure regulatory compliance: SEC, tax, and global regulations.
  8. Talent retention and benefits: develop retention strategies and oversee executive benefits programs.
  9. Manage external and internal advisors: maintain strategic relationships and internal stakeholder engagement.
  10. Collaborate across departments: legal, finance, HR, and payroll.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years in executive compensation at a publicly traded company.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; MBA, CPA, CCP preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of SEC regulations, tax laws, and disclosure requirements.
  • High integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
  • Strong analytical, modeling, and communication skills.
Compensation

Base salary range varies by location, with additional benefits and incentives. Specific ranges are provided based on state.
