Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, environmental studies, sustainability, or related field.
• Active CPA license.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in external audit, sustainability assurance, or related professional services.
• Experience leading projects, engagements, teams, or client workstreams.
• Familiarity with greenhouse gas reporting, ESG metrics, and sustainability disclosures.
• Experience evaluating processes, controls, documentation, and data quality in audit/assurance contexts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to explain complex topics to clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage sustainability assurance engagements across planning, execution, review, reporting, and client communication.
• Oversee procedures related to ESG metrics, GHG emissions, disclosures, and related controls.
• Coordinate with clients and teams to assess ESG data collection, governance, and reporting readiness.
• Apply frameworks such as GHG Protocol, TCFD, GRI, SASB, CDP and other standards.
• Support clients in improving ESG reporting processes, data quality, and controls.
• Prepare and review client deliverables, reports, and engagement documentation.
• Build trusted client relationships and expand assurance and consulting services.
• Coach and develop team members and foster a high-performing environment.
• Contribute to business development, thought leadership, and internal practice-building.
