Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP is seeking a Senior Manager to lead sustainability assurance engagements and advise on ESG data, reporting processes, and internal controls. You will collaborate with clients, partners, and engagement teams to translate evolving reporting requirements into practical solutions.

You will guide teams, contribute to business development, and help clients strengthen their sustainability disclosures and assurance readiness in a dynamic professional services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, environmental studies, sustainability, or related field.
• Active CPA license.
• 7+ years in external audit, sustainability assurance, or related professional services.

Responsibilities

• Lead sustainability assurance engagements from planning through reporting and client communication.
• Oversee ESG metrics, GHG emissions, disclosures, and related controls.
• Coordinate with clients and teams on data collection, governance, and reporting readiness.
• Apply frameworks like GHG Protocol, TCFD, GRI, SASB, CDP, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop opportunities to improve ESG reporting processes and controls.
• Prepare reviews of client deliverables, reports, and workpapers.
