Job summary

Lincoln International in Chicago seeks a Senior Manager, Equity Compensation to oversee accounting for the firm’s global equity plans and related financial reporting. You will partner with Payroll, HR, Tax, Legal and external auditors to ensure accurate tracking, timely closes, and strong internal controls.

The role requires deep equity accounting expertise, leadership, and the ability to drive process improvements in a fast-paced environment. Chicago-based with eligibility for bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience with 1–2 years in supervisory role.
• Experience with equity accounting, financial reporting, and U.S. GAAP compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting for the firm’s global equity plans and equity-based compensation.
• Lead monthly/quarterly close activities related to equity compensation and equity disclosures.
• Partner with Payroll, Tax, Legal and external auditors for compliance and controls.
• Maintain capitalization table and support equity roll-forward schedules.
• Drive process improvements and automation in equity accounting workflows.
