Job summary

Mohawk Industries, a Fortune 500 flooring leader, seeks a Manager Data Protection to drive the enterprise data protection program. You will oversee discovery, classification, DLP, and lifecycle governance, ensuring compliance and risk reduction across global teams.

You will manage Purview integrations, labeling taxonomy, and governance workflows, partnering with Legal, HR, and IT to embed protection into project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in information security with data protection focus
• Experience with regulatory frameworks (SOX ITGC, GDPR, CCPA)
• Hands-on with Purview services and classification workflows

Responsibilities

• Own and lead Mohawk’s enterprise Data Protection program across discovery, classification, DLP, and lifecycle governance
• Maintain Purview-related roadmap within the MIPF and industry standards
• Track KPIs and report to senior leadership (Director, CISO)
• Set data protection policies and enforce across regions and business units
• Lead Purview integration with Microsoft 365 apps and third‑party platforms
• Oversee audit/compliance management and regulatory posture
• Mentor a team of data protection engineers and analysts
