Job summary

Mohawk Industries, Inc. is seeking a Manager Data Protection to lead the enterprise data protection program, including discovery, classification, DLP, and lifecycle governance.

You will operate Microsoft Purview, manage risk, and ensure compliance across data protection laws and frameworks. Open to candidates in Calhoun, GA and Dallas, TX, with a focus on building a high-performing team, defining roadmaps, and reporting to the CISO and Director of AppSec.

Qualifications

• 8+ years information security experience with 3+ years in data protection, DLP, or data governance.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Purview modules (Information Protection, DLP, Insider Risk, Compliance Manager, eDiscovery).
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 platform architecture (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Entra ID).
• Experience in regulated environments (SOX ITGC, GDPR, CCPA) and global enterprises.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Mohawk’s enterprise Data Protection program across discovery, classification, DLP, and data lifecycle governance.
• Maintain data protection roadmap aligned with MIPF, CIS Controls v8, NIST CSF 2.0.
• Track KPIs and report to CISO and Director of AppSec, Vulnerability Management & Data Protection.
• Set and enforce data protection policies, standards, and procedures across regions.
• Lead Purview deployment across Information Protection, DLP, and eDiscovery.
