Job summary

Bealls, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Enterprise Application Engineering to lead our enterprise app development on Microsoft Azure, adopting an AI-augmented software development lifecycle and end-to-end delivery across business units.

You will manage capacity planning, sprint execution, production support, and quality standards while guiding external partners and internal teams. Strong .NET/C# and Azure expertise, plus experience with integrat ion/messaging architectures, are required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering with 3+ years leading engineers or engineering managers
• Deep, hands-on experience in .NET/C# across modern and legacy frameworks
• Proven delivery on Microsoft Azure (compute, integration, IaC, CI/CD)
• Ability to lead delivery across multiple teams with capacity planning and production support
• Experience designing or delivering integration/messaging architectures (pub/sub, event-driven) and migrating off legacy ETL tooling
• Track record modernizing established applications while shipping new capabilities
• Experience managing external delivery partners alongside full-time staff
• Strong architecture and technical judgment; able to communicate decisions to engineers and executives

Responsibilities

• Lead engineers and engineering managers across the application development org
• Own hiring, performance mgmt and career development for the team
• Set technical direction and foster a standards-driven culture
• Own capacity planning and resource allocation across product lines
• Run agile delivery — sprint planning, execution and release management
• Own production support, SLA commitments and incident escalation
• Set and enforce standards for code quality, security, testing and observability
• Direct external delivery partners on scope, quality, throughput and skills mix
• Deliver cloud-native apps on Azure across web, mobile, and handheld devices
• Drive integration architecture toward Azure-based patterns and retire legacy tooling
• Keep .NET/C# portfolio stable, secure and modernized
• Make sound architectural decisions in partnership with leadership
• Guide AI delivery across SDLC with grounding and human-in-the-loop review
