Job summary
Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago seeks a Sr. Manager of Application Development to lead multiple teams delivering secure, scalable enterprise applications.
You will drive design decisions, architecture, and modern engineering practices across HR, Finance, and Workday portfolios in an AWS-based, regulated environment. You will mentor engineers, advance DevSecOps, and partner with business leaders to translate requirements into technical roadmaps, while ensuring delivery quality and compliance
Qualifications
- Experience leading large-scale enterprise applications in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Proven ability to guide architecture, design decisions, and secure coding practices.
- Deep knowledge of cloud-native development, CI/CD, and DevSecOps in regulated environments.
Responsibilities
- Provide technology leadership for HR and Finance application portfolio including Workday and SaaS platforms.
- Lead end-to-end software development lifecycle from design to production support.
- Drive Agile delivery, security, quality, and operational readiness across teams.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into sustainable technology solutions.
