Job summary
The Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago is seeking a Sr. Manager of Application Development to lead multiple software teams across HR and Finance platforms, including Workday, in a regulated financial services environment.
You will guide architecture decisions, drive modernization, and ensure secure, scalable solutions while partnering with business and IT leaders to translate requirements into sustainable technology roadmaps.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related.
- 15+ years of software engineering and application development experience, including 5+ years leading engineering teams.
- Experience leading enterprise application portfolios including SaaS, Workday, integrations, and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Provide technology leadership for HR and Finance application portfolio including Workday and related systems.
- Lead end-to-end software development lifecycle across Agile delivery.
- Champion DevSecOps practices with security embedded in development lifecycle.
- Partner with stakeholders to define roadmaps balancing business priorities and modernization needs.
- Mentor and develop high-performing engineering teams; drive accountability and delivery excellence.
