Job summary

Affirm is looking for a Senior Manager, Technical Recruiting to lead a high-performing team across EMEA, driving the hiring strategy for engineering and other technical roles. You will partner with senior leaders to align regional plans with business priorities and to scale hiring internationally.

The role emphasizes executive presence, data-driven decision making, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, Talent Brand, and Compensation to deliver a seamless candidate experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading full-cycle technical recruiting.
• 5+ years of experience leading and developing high-performing recruiting teams.
• Deep knowledge of the EMEA talent market, with experience hiring in the UK, Poland, and Spain preferred.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence, advise, and build trusted partnerships with senior leaders.
• Strong analytical skills, with experience using recruiting data and market insights to shape hiring strategies and influence business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of recruiters by setting clear expectations and fostering an inclusive culture.
• Own the recruiting strategy for EMEA, aligning regional hiring plans with business priorities.
• Partner with technical and cross-functional leaders to translate hiring plans into scalable strategies across teams.
• Influence senior stakeholders through data, market insights, and guidance to inform hiring decisions and mitigate talent risks.
• Use analytics to identify trends, improve funnel performance, forecast hiring risks, and drive continuous improvement across the hiring process.
• Collaborate with Talent Brand, Talent Operations, Compensation, and other People teams to deliver a seamless hiring experience.
• Build trusted relationships with senior leaders through transparent communication and proactive talent advice.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve recruiting processes to increase efficiency and experience.
