Qualifications

  • Lead and inspire the E-Commerce Marketplace team to optimise performance and
    drive marketplace growth
  • Join Qantas Loyalty to adapt, champion, and execute a transformative long-term strategy for the Qantas Marketplace

Retail & QBR growth is a key pillar of Loyalty's overarching FY30 growth strategy, and E-Commerce is a key enabler and contributor to Qantas Retail achieving this growth ambition. Reporting to the Head of E-Commerce, as the Senior Manager, Marketplace, you will be accountable for implementing the E-commerce strategy for Qantas Retail, including delivering a simplified and optimised future state proposition for Qantas Marketplace to optimise burn frequency, member engagement and driving EBIT growth for the Group.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 10-15+ years successful and significant experience with a large organisation in complex
    corporate environments with exposure to eCommerce, commercial strategy, category
    management, customer experience and business performance
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, finance or similar
  • A thought-leader with a passion for innovative commercial, digital and marketing
    solutions using data, insights and experience
  • Experience in strategic thinking, analytical interpretation, problem solving and
    creation and execution of strategies
  • Experience in developing business models, new business cases and evaluating
    propositions
  • Experience leading high performing, large and multi-disciplinary teams and end to
    end business and P&L accountability
  • Experience driving transformation change
  • Demonstrable commercial awareness and a passion for delivering commercially
    astute outcomes
  • A Cause and Effect thinking with the ability to identify complex multiple chains of
    cause and effect
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to engage and motivate people through
    effective communication
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – with the ability to effectively liaise
    and negotiate with all levels of management
  • Possess highly developed stakeholder relationship management skills, both
    internally within, and externally to the company at a senior level
  • Exhibit high energy levels and strong personal drive in a changing and challenging
    environment
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities – internal and external ability to work under
    pressure and manage competing deadlines
  • Commitment to change and continuous improvement
  • Prior experience in agile ways of working and design thinking will be highly regarded
  • A strong understanding of customer loyalty and program economics
