Marketing Manager - Ecommerce & Digital Strategy

Noonday Collection is at an exciting inflection point in our journey. Founded in 2010 when Jessica Honegger sold artisan-made goods to fund her adoption of a child from Rwanda, our mission began as a partnership with Ugandan artisans who needed a marketplace for their beautiful handcrafted products. What started as an at-home fundraiser has blossomed into a purpose-driven brand that has generated over $150M in total revenue and $30 million in payments to artisans worldwide over our 15-year history. We are an established B Corps and fair trade certified. Having grown primarily through a single channel, we are now evolving into a true omnichannel brand. We're seeking a collaborative, adaptable, and purpose-driven marketing professional to help lead this transition and drive our next phase of growth through innovative digital strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing & Content Strategy
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns across email, text, and social channels
- Create compelling content that aligns with brand voice and enhances SEO
- Manage segmentation strategies to deliver personalized content to target audiences
- Build and maintain content calendars across multiple products and initiatives
- Oversee social media team and ensure contractors have necessary resources
- Ensure compliance with marketing regulations including CAN-SPAM and GDPR
Ecommerce & Shopify Management
- Optimize all Shopify stores' performance, including product listings and site functionality
- Configure technical aspects of sales events (discounts, tags, Launchpad, Easy Lockdown)
- Ensure mobile responsiveness and optimize checkout experience to reduce abandonment
- Collaborate with design team on website updates, email templates, and promotional materials
Sales & Promotions Leadership
- Develop annual promotional calendar, including standard and opportunity-based sales events
- Create strategic recommendations to boost revenue during traditionally slow periods
- Coordinate with warehouse team and wholesale partners regarding upcoming promotions
- Track and report on key metrics including revenue lift, average order value, and conversion rates
- Evaluate competitive landscape to ensure offers remain compelling and on-brand
Performance & Analytics
- Analyze campaign and sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth
- Conduct A/B testing to refine marketing elements and optimize performance metrics
- Manage external agency for Meta and Google campaigns
- Oversee Meta Partners within Beta Business Suite for UGC and boosted content
- Stay current with digital marketing and ecommerce trends to implement innovative strategies
Customer Experience & Journey Optimization
- Map and analyze the full customer journey from awareness to advocacy
- Identify friction points in the purchasing process and implement solutions to improve conversion
- Develop personalized touchpoints at key stages of the customer lifecycle
- Create and optimize post-purchase communications to encourage repeat business and referrals
- Collaborate with customer service to ensure consistent brand experience across all interactions
AI Integration & Innovation
- Leverage AI tools to streamline marketing workflows and drive operational efficiencies
- Implement AI-powered personalization across customer touchpoints
- Utilize AI for advanced audience segmentation and predictive analytics
- Demonstrate proven experience applying AI solutions to marketing challenges
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies and identify new applications relevant to ecommerce and marketing
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing Shopify stores and Klaviyo email marketing platforms for a consumer brand
- Proven track record of driving ecommerce growth through integrated marketing strategies
- Demonstrated experience implementing AI solutions to enhance marketing effectiveness
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Experience managing cross-functional projects and collaborating with multiple stakeholders
- Passion for social entrepreneurship and ethical fashion

- This role is hybrid, requiring you to be in the office at least two days a week
