Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience.
• 5+ years leading engineering teams.
• Deep understanding of DNS and core internet protocols at scale.
• Experience owning Tier-0 or Tier-1 services in a 24x7x365 environment.
• Hands-on background in distributed systems, Linux, and backend development (Python or Go).
• Experience with public cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Kubernetes.
• Experience driving engineering productivity with AI-assisted tools and automation.
• Strong communication skills with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy and own delivery for Salesforce DNS and DDI roadmaps.
• Lead and grow a diverse, high-performing engineering team.
• Own availability, latency, and SLO-driven operations for Tier-0 DNS.
• Modernize the platform toward cloud-native, multi-provider DNS on Hyperforce.
• Automate through AI and self-service APIs; use AI-assisted development to reduce toil.
• Strengthen security posture, including DNSSEC and DDoS resilience.
• Collaborate with platform, networking, security, and product teams to align roadmaps.
