Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a highly motivated Hardware Test engineering leader to own centralized test capabilities, including environmental, structural, and wind tunnel testing. The role partners with program and product leadership to translate validation needs into executable test strategies, instrumentation architectures, and risk-based campaigns.

The Enterprise Test Capabilities team owns labs, calibration programs, and capital equipment, enabling rapid development with engineering rigor.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in test engineering or related hardware disciplines.
• 5+ years of leadership including building and scaling teams.
• Hands-on experience in environmental, wind tunnel or related physical testing.
• Experience managing capital equipment, labs, and multi-million-dollar budgets.
• Ability to translate validation needs into executable test strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead centralized Enterprise Test Capabilities team across environmental, structural, wind tunnel tests.
• Own and scale niche test capabilities to support rapid product development.
• Manage lab infrastructure, calibration, and capital equipment planning.
• Drive expansion of internal test capabilities to speed design iteration.
• Partner with program leaders to translate system needs into test strategies and plans.
• Lead test architecture and readiness planning for complex hardware programs.
• Allocate talent and resources across multiple priorities in a high-growth environment.
• Develop leaders within the test organization and provide mentorship and performance management.
