CVS Health is hiring a Senior Manager to lead the Data Self-Service Platform team, guiding design, build, and release of a self-service data solution. You will mentor engineers, align technical work with business strategy, and ensure robust, production-grade software across critical data tools.

You will oversee a shift toward decentralized data ownership and empower analytics teams with AI-powered capabilities, semantic layers, and reliable data models.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering with leadership experience.
• Experience leading full-stack React/Python teams.
• Strong stakeholder and cross-functional communication.
• Experience with production-grade full-stack apps and gRPC/REST APIs.
• Experience with containerized environments (Docker) and CI/CD (Azure DevOps/GitHub).
• Knowledge of Kafka and Snowflake data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic technical leadership for the Data Self-Service Platform (React/Python/Snowflake).
• Mentor and grow a team of software engineers.
• Coordinate project planning, resource allocation, and delivery timelines.
• Bridge engineering, product, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure high code quality, observability, and robust architecture practices.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies and operational efficiency.
