Job summary

Vuori is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Engineering in California to lead a growing data engineering team, own the roadmap for ingestion and pipeline architecture, and partner with analytics and product leadership to solve business problems.

You will stay hands-on enough to coach on Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, and ingestion patterns while driving team priorities and reliability across data platforms.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of data engineering experience, including people management.
• Strong background in pipeline design, ingestion patterns, and cloud warehousing (Azure Data Factory and Snowflake preferred).
• Experience setting roadmaps and prioritizing across initiatives and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with analytics, product and business leaders.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of data engineers with hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
• Set the technical roadmap for data ingestion and pipeline architecture.
• Partner with analytics, product, and leadership to prioritize the data roadmap.
• Ensure pipeline outputs align with downstream models and analytics needs.
• Own processes, code reviews, testing, and on-call practices; escalate complex decisions.
• Stay hands-on with Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, and ingestion patterns to guide architecture.
