Job summary

Securian Financial Group in Saint Paul, MN seeks a Customer Operations Senior Manager to lead managers, supervisors, and client-support teams across the Richmond, Madison, and Austin Branch Offices, ensuring branch performance and service delivery.

You will set branch priorities, coach leaders, manage budgets and staffing, partner with Account Executives and EBS, and drive continuous improvement to deliver scalable, compliant operations with an exceptional client experience.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in complex, multi-team customer operations.
• Ability to develop leaders, manage performance, and build succession.
• Experience managing client commitments, service performance, and operational risk.

Responsibilities

• Lead branch operations and deliver accurate, timely service against client commitments, performance guarantees, and service levels.
• Set branch priorities and drive improvements that strengthen service, consistency, scalability, and customer experience.
• Partner with clients, Account Executives, EBS leaders, and Operations teams to resolve issues and support growth.
• Coach and develop branch leaders, strengthen succession readiness, and foster an inclusive, client-focused culture.
• Establish and manage budgets; align staffing, coverage, and expenses with workload and service commitments; and recommend capacity and investment needs.
